Family Fun

Mother's Day - UK - March 10th 2013
Hi - I am really late getting the blog out tonight.  Thats because we have had visitors for the past few hours.  But more of that in a few.  Woke up really early this morning because I was in bed so early last night.  I went to bed at 8:30 pm because I couldn't keep my eyes open.  I slept really well. But of course that meant waking up early.  And I woke up to gray skies, drizzle and my brother cursing me for wishing for rain lol.  He messaged me on FB at 6 am this morning to let me know he wasn't happy because he had to go golfing and it was raining and cold, and it was all my fault..hahahaha.  Anyway, got up and did the normal - breakfast and bath.  Around 11:30, my mom and I caught the bus into the high street.  Visited the fishmonger to pick up some sole for my dads supper tonight, and some salmon for us.  I love that they have a butcher, baker, fishmonger and vegetable shop in town.  It's like an old town feel.  After the fishmonger we wandered down to the Co-Op to pick up some groceries.  Caught a taxi home because of the rain and because we had several bags of groceries. After lunch I sewed for a little bit but noticed that the rain had eased up, and decided I was going out for a walk.  So I bundled up because the wind was still very cold, and took off on a 3.25 mile walk.  It felt good to get out and exercise and breath in the fresh air.  When I got back from my walk, my mom told me that my brother and his family were headed down for a visit.  We had a really good visit.  Fun times.  We decided to have pizzas for dinner, and I had a couple of slices of Spicy Chicken pizza that was quite yummy.  Gary, Simone, Daniel and Nicole left about an hour ago, and hopefully it won't be too long until we see them again.  So that's it for today.  We have no plans for tomorrow.  I will probably walk again.  Maybe down at the Cliff Top trail, or maybe I will walk up to Spott .  I hope everyone has a great Sunday.  Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers in the UK as tomorrow is Mother's day here.  Bye for now :-)
