Shake, Rattle & Roll

The awesome flab machine lol
Hi all - how's it going?  All is well here on this dreary Thursday evening in Dunbar.  I got my wish and it has been drizzling off and on all day.  No heavy rain, just a mist, drizzle, windy and cloudy.  Oh and cold..lol.  But you won't hear me complain :-)   Not much to report tonight.  My mom and I got up, had breakfast and walked to ASDA to get some groceries for tonight's dinner.  Then afterwards we walked into town to mail something,  visit the Crunchy Carrot for celery (ASDA was out) and the pharmacy.  I also stopped in at a place called "Tone It" to check it out.  It's a really interesting 10 minute workout.  Its a machine that uses vibration plates to tone your muscles.  Val (my mom's friend) has been going and was telling me about it as she has lost several inches.  You stand on the machine, and it starts shaking.  It starts off slowly, and picks up intensity.  You can feel every muscle and piece of flab on your body shaking lol.  Its a very weird feeling.  Anyway, I tried it out and loved it so I am going to do it for three weeks.  I have to go 4 times a week, so I will be walking up there to go shake and jiggle...lol.   We need to get these to the USA, I have never seen them before, and the Yanks would probably love them.
Kenley Harper
After our little jaunt into town, we headed home in the drizzle and made some lunch.  Caught up on some sewing, took a cat nap and made a big pot of Dutch Curried Pea Soup. Wanted to send a bowl to Val's husband and I know she is coming for a sewing lesson here tomorrow, so we can send some soup home with her for him.  Face timed with Kristin, Cole and Kenley.  Watched Kenley totally stand up by herself from a sitting down position and take a few steps.  That little sweetie is going to be running all over the place before her mommie knows it lol.  And then there's Cole - there aren't many words for Cole, he's crazy but oh so cute.  Love that little boy to bits.  Missed Cameron as he was at school :-(((  Will catch up with him next time.  Well that about does it for today.  Tomorrow, Val and Anne are coming for their fortnightly sewing lesson.  My mom is going to show them how to join their rag time quilt rows together.  I will head into town for my shake, rattle and roll session after the sewing lesson.  Also going to try walk a few miles if the weather is not too bad.  So until tomorrow, nighty night.  TTYS !
