Lazy Sunday

Good evening everyone - its been a quiet, lazy day here in Dunbar.  I woke up around 8 am.  Ate some breakfast and went on my three mile run as planned.  Finished 3.20 miles in 44 minutes.  I could have finished it faster if I had ran the entire route but I walked a little.  It was amazing how many people were actually up and running or walking this morning.  People are active in Scotland lol.  After i got back from my run, my mom and I sat and sewed for a while.  It's been a long time since I did some sewing.  I brought an embroidery project with me that I had started at home, so maybe it will actually get finished here.  Sitting sewing this morning reminded me that I miss it.  Need to do more sewing.  Ever since I got involved in making cards, my sewing has kind of fallen by the wayside.  My mom is working on a beautiful quilt - hand stitching the top of it.  She is doing a great job.

Mr Whippy

After lunch, my mom and I went on another short walk.  Stopped in at the factory store and I found a pair of pants and a couple of shirts.  Then we headed back home.  The rest of the day has been a lazy one.  Just hanging out, watching movies.  I keep waiting for Mr Whippy to show up.  For those in America, Mr Whippy is an ice cream man that comes around the neighborhood and sells the most creamiest soft serve I have ever tasted.  I can't believe he hasn't been here yet.  I've been here two weeks already and he is a no-show.  Shame on him lol.  I will break my diet for a Mr Whippy..hahahahaha!
Well thats all I know, nothing else knew to tell you.  Tomorrow is volunteer day at the Chest, Heart & Stroke shop so I will be headed their in the afternoon to help Val and my mom.  Going to make Potato & Leek Soup for dinner tomorrow so I will head to ASDA to pick up some stuff to make the soup.  As for the rest of the week, my mom and I are headed into Edinburgh on Wednesday to go to the movies.  I have wanted to see Les Miserables and it is still playing over here.  Its also supposed to rain on Wednesday so it will be a good day to go to the movies.  A trip to North Berwick is planned for this week too, and I don't know what else.  Hope you all have a great week.  Toodles !!!!!
